CASE STUDY 02
Transferring Full Ownership of an Abaya Manufacturing Company to Its Foreign Founder
Mr. Aqeel Ghous — Manufacturing & Textiles
Mr. Aqeel Ghous, founder of an abaya manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia, held his business under a local Saudi partner and wanted to transfer full ownership into his own name.
Challenge
Moving the company from a local-partner structure to 100% foreign ownership was the main challenge, requiring the shareholding to be restructured, the arrangement with the outgoing partner settled, and MISA approval secured, all without disrupting the factory’s ongoing production.
Solution
We managed the ownership transfer from start to finish. This included obtaining MISA approval for the change in ownership structure, restructuring the shareholding to reflect Mr. Ghous as the sole owner, amending the Commercial Registration accordingly, and coordinating the necessary government portal updates to keep the manufacturing operation running smoothly throughout the transition.
Outcome
Mr. Ghous now owns his abaya manufacturing company outright, with full control over operations and decision-making, and a clean legal structure to support future growth.
